Phase1 – Agency Description The student will be assigned one of the following criminal justice components to represent and for which to serve as advocate:

• Courts

1. The student will submit a 3 page paper describing the function and purpose of the designated criminal justice component and how it interrelates to other components.
2. Support your work with a a MINIMUM of two (2) resources other than the class instructional material. Narrative and Resource page citations must be done in the American Psychological Association (APA) format
3. A cover page (not included in the page count)
   1. Name of the student
   2. Name and number of the course
   3. Date of submission
   4. All other pages will be double-spaced, 1 inch margin, 12 font.
