Consider the evidential problem of evil as presented here:

(1) Probably, there are genuinely pointless evils.
(2) If there are genuinely pointless evils then theism is false.
(3) Therefore theism is probably false.

Is this a sound argument?  If not, which premise would your reject and why?  Explain and discuss with your peers.
