n a 2-page essay, write a position paper on whether correctional officers should be the same gender as the inmates in the facility to which they are assigned. Students should support their position with at least one “real-life” example. Finally, students should reflect on the challenges and rewards of having different-gendered correctional officers.

Students must include a minimum of two references, one being from an outside, non-GU source.
