The purpose of this assignment is to compare/contrast mainstream American culture in the 21st century with another culture in terms of how each responds to the elderly and the aging process. The “other” culture can be a group from the past (for instance, the Greeks, the Vikings, etc.) or it can be a contemporary group in another part of the world (Japan, Sweden, etc.).

Each paper is to be typed, double-spaced with Times New Roman 12 point font. The margins are to be 1 inch at the top, bottom, left, and right.
