conclusion
i want a conclusion for 3 drafts my group wrote and please i want it in one hour i just need a conclusion for what they said and i want it one page and half and my opinion in the end is agains but my group two of them was with and two were against.
here is the first one and he is against :
It is clear that there are serious medical consequences to same-sex behavior by having too many diseases.
Male Homosexual Behavior
Men having sex with other men leads to greater health risks than men having sex with women19 not only because of promiscuity but also because of the nature of sex among men. A British researcher summarizes the danger as follows:
"Male homosexual behaviour is not simply either 'active' or 'passive,' since penile-anal, mouth-penile, and hand-anal sexual contact is usual for both partners, and mouth-anal contact is not infrequent. . . . Mouth-anal contact is the reason for the relatively high incidence of diseases caused by bowel pathogens in male homosexuals.
Anal intercourse
Yet human physiology makes it clear that the body was not designed to accommodate this activity. The rectum is significantly different from the vagina with regard to suitability for penetration by a penis. The vagina has natural lubricants and is supported by a network of muscles. It is composed of a mucus membrane with a multi-layer stratified squamous epithelium that allows it to endure friction without damage and to resist the immunological actions caused by semen and sperm.
Anal-genital consequences
-Anal Cancer
Chlamydia trachomatis
Cryptosporidium
Giardia lamblia
Herpes simplex virus
-Human immunodeficiency virus
-Human papilloma virus
Isospora belli
Microsporidia
Gonorrhea
Viral hepatitis types B & C
Syphilis
Female Homosexual Behavior
Lesbians are also at higher risk for health problems than heterosexuals. However, the health consequences of lesbianism are less well documented than for male homosexuals. This is partly because the devastation of AIDS has caused male homosexual activity to draw the lion's share of medical attention.
Shortened Life Span
The greater incidence of physical and mental health problems among gays and lesbians has serious consequences for length of life. While many are aware of the death toll from AIDS, there has been little public attention given to the magnitude of the lost years of life
AIDS and homosexuality
• 2% of U.S. population is gay yet it accounts for 61% of HIV infection: "Men who have sex with men remain the group most heavily affected by new HIV infections. While CDC estimates that MSM represent only 2 percent of the U.S. population, they accounted for the majority (61 percent; 29,300) of all new HIV infections in 2009. Young MSM (ages 13 to 29) were most severely affected, representing more than one quarter of all new HIV infections nationally (27 percent; 12,900 in 2009)." (Center for Disease Control, cdc.gov/nchhstp/newsroom/HIVIncidencePressRelease.html)
If homosexual activity does not harm anyone, then why are the statistics for homosexual AIDS percentages so much higher than the heterosexual population.
-Common sexual practices among gay men lead to numerous STDs and physical injuries, some of which are virtually unknown in the heterosexual population. Lesbians are also at higher risk for STDs. In addition to diseases that may be transmitted during lesbian sex, a study at an Australian STD clinic found that lesbians were three to four times more likely than heterosexual women to have sex with men who were high-risk for HIV.
Homosexuality and reduced Lifespan
1. Gay men's lifespan shorter than non-gay men: "The life expectancy for gay and bisexual men is 8 to 20 years less than for men in general. Robert S. Hogg et al., "Modeling the Impact of HIV Disease on Mortality in Gay and Bisexual Men," International Journal of Epidemiology 26 (1997): 657." (Exodus Global Alliance, exodusglobalalliance.org/ishomosexualityhealthyp60.php)
2. "In 2007, MSM [Men Sex with Men] were 44 to 86 times as likely to be diagnosed with HIV compared with other men, and 40 to 77 times as likely as women." (Center for Disease Control, http://www.cdc.gov/hiv/topics/msm/index.htm)
3. Sex of women with women at greater health risk than women with men: "For women, a history of sex with women may be a marker for increased risk of adverse sexual, reproductive, and general health outcomes compared with women who reported sex exclusively with men." (American Journal of Public Health, ajph.aphapublications.org/cgi/content/abstract/97/6/1126)
Religious reason:
I'm also against gay marriage because I'm Muslim, and Islam refuses or disagrees with gay marriage.
Finally:
Gay Marriage reduces the number of children born in society. If gay marriage increases society will be harmed specially the children.
and here is the second one and he is with :
For my portion of this group speech, I will be speaking on the subject of same-sex marriage. For many generations across history, the topic of same sex marriage has remained a taboo subject that many people are scared to speak on. Although the topic has become more accepted and has become a subject that many people feel more comfortable talking about, there are still communities that see the topic as uncomfortable and inappropriate. This may be true to a person’s individual situation or culture. However, we are here to break those walls and to inform you on where we lye on the spectrum.
I personally am a huge advocate for the LGBTQ+ community. Now after stating that, I hope that it has become obvious that I am for the topic of same-sex marriage. Many people can decide to be for or against this topic for many different reasons but in this speech, I will talk about two specific reasons as to why I am pro same sex marriage. My first reason is that denying people the right and freedom to marry is a perfect of institutionalized discrimination. For the people in this room who are not aware of what institutionalized discrimination is, it is when the government or institutions of power discriminate against a certain group of people as a whole. Telling a specific group of people, I.E. people that identify with the LGBTQ+ community, that they can not be married and looked at as a couple that, according to the law, is not legally recognized, is discrimination. The fact that people openly take their personal prejudice ideas and put them into play in making decisions with governmental policies, affecting an entire community and population as big as ten percent of Americas population, creates one of the most controversial topics in the history of the United States. According to the LA Times magazine, nearly one hundred thousand couples decided to marry after same sex marriage became legalized across the United States after just three months. After reading about these numbers, one can safely say that same sex marriage is important in playing a part of fulfilling many many countless dreams and hopes of our fellow American citizens. In a country th1at has for so long awaited equality and fairness, the legalization of same sex marriage serves as a step closer to national inclusivity and forwardness. The second reason that I think that same sex marriage should be legalized is because the illegalization of same sex marriage would create a second class citizenship. According to the Huffington Post, Joe Biden, the Vice President openly spoke about how he was tired about how the LGBTQ+ community was seen and treated like a second class society. Biden made the statement that he felt the “LGBT people face violence, harassment, unequal treatment, mistreatment by cops, denial of health care, isolation — always in the name of culture. I’ve had it up to here with culture. I really mean it,” he said, striking the table with his palms. “Culture never justifies rank, raw, discrimination or violation of human rights. There is no cultural justification. None. None. None.” Many powerful politicians and zealous citizens all agree that the LGBTQ+ community does face adversity in places that many cultures have the pleasure of not facing. Growing up in a society that thinks that your different is hard and can take a huge toll on the individuals who have grown to believe that they were lesser. Illegalizing same sex marriage will begin to set us, as a country, back in the direction of discrimination and will dismantle the very fabric of what this nation was founded upon, freedom. Dismantling freedom through discrimination and through second class citizenship, are just a few of the ways that our nation can be affected if it doesn’t offer the freedom to marry. Overall, people may hold specific political points of views, but in the end, it is important to take the attitude of the nation as a whole into account when deciding on whether or not to pass laws and bills.

Gay marriage is protected by the US Constitution’s commitments to liberty and equality.
Supreme Court Case: about the case
Obergefell v.Hodges
Groups of same-sex couples sued their relevant state agencies in Ohio, Michigan, Kentucky, and Tennessee to challenge the constitutionality of those states' bans on same-sex marriage or refusal to recognize legal same-sex marriages that occurred in jurisdictions that provided for such marriages. The plaintiffs in each case argued that the states' statutes violated the Equal Protection Clause and Due Process Clause of the Fourteenth Amendment, and one group of plaintiffs also brought claims under the Civil Rights Act. In all the cases, the trial court found in favor of the plaintiffs. The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit reversed and held that the states' bans on same-sex marriage and refusal to recognize marriages performed in other states did not violate the couples' Fourteenth Amendment rights to equal protection and due process.
The 14th Ammendment
(1) Does the Fourteenth Amendment require a state to license a marriage between two people of the same sex?
(2) Does the Fourteenth Amendment require a state to recognize a marriage between two people of the same sex that was legally licensed and performed in another state?
The Ruling
The Court held that the Due Process Clause of the Fourteenth Amendment guarantees the right to marry as one of the fundamental liberties it protects, and that analysis applies to same-sex couples in the same manner as it does to opposite-sex couples. Judicial precedent has held that the right to marry is a fundamental liberty because it is inherent to the concept of individual autonomy, it protects the most intimate association between two people, it safeguards children and families by according legal recognition to building a home and raising children, and it has historically been recognized as the keystone of social order.
The Equal Protection Clause of the Fourteenth Amendment also guarantees the right of same-sex couples to marry as the denial of that right would deny same-sex couples equal protection under the law. Marriage rights have traditionally been addressed through both parts of the Fourteenth Amendment, and the same interrelated principles of liberty and equality apply with equal force to these cases; therefore, the Constitution protects the fundamental right of same-sex couples to marry. The Court also held that the First Amendment protects the rights of religious organizations to adhere to their principles, but it does not allow states to deny same-sex couples the right to marry on the same terms as those for opposite-sex couples.
Gay marriage is protected by the US Constitution's
commitments to liberty and equality. The US Supreme Court
ruled 7-2 in the 1974 case Cleveland Board of Education v.
LaFleur that the "freedom of personal choice in matters of
marriage and family life is one of the liberties protected by the
Due Process Clause." US District Judge Vaughn Walker wrote
on Aug. 4, 2010 that Prop. 8 in California banning gay marriage
was "unconstitutional under both the Due Process and Equal
Protection Clauses." The Due Process Clause in both the Fifth
and 14th Amendments of the US Constitution states that no
person shall be "deprived of life, liberty, or property, without
due process of law." The Equal Protection Clause in the 14th
Amendment states that no state shall "deny to any person
within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws."
