complete a paragraph

i just want to complete this paragraph to 160 word and make more academic 

After I graduated from high school, as many of students in my country, I've applied to the community college in my country, and I got accepted. I wasn't sure about it, but I've proceed studying there. At my second year at the college majoring at statistic that I wasn't a big fan of, I have decided to switch my major, but the requirement were impassable. So I dropped that college and applied for a scholarship to my current college, and I got accepted. My achievement was to have the courage to stand out for myself and make this huge step which is start studying the thing that I know that  I'am good at.
