Second Essay Prompt:  In the readings and class discussions, we have looked at a number of different genocides.  Using this material, compare/contrast elements of two modern genocides, which may include those we have studied or one of those we have not yet covered; i.e. Cambodia, Rwanda, Darfur, Bosnia and now, Syria. For example, you can compare justifications for genocide, what they hoped to achieve, how they conducted genocide, how they convinced people to commit genocide, etc.  You may use the examples from the assigned readings and up to five outside sources.
