Topic: Collaboration and communication strategies to improve transitions.

I have started to look for some videos that are general right now until we decide if we will have a focus on a particular transition point from  elementary to middle school or middle to high school. The main focus is with children with AUTISM.

My strategy focus is the use of Social social Stories to help them transition.


1.    Provide an overview of the topic.
Why is this topic important? (2 pt.)
How can it be applied in practice? (2 pt.)
What are the specific measurable objectives the audience will learn from the presentation? (2 pts.)
 
2. Provide materials on your topic which include information from a minimum of:
5 peer-reviewed journal citations written after 2004.       (5 pts.)
2 relevant video/website or resource links. (4 pts.)
 
3. Provide conclusions based on the literature.
Summarize your content. (4 pts.)
Describe how the research can inform practice (4 pts)
 
4. Describe how you would present the material using notes at the bottom of your ppt slides (see sample presentation) or a separate handout to accompany the presentation.
Materials needed (1 pt.)
Include the take-home message you would give for the information on each slide if you were presenting this material in person (4 pts.)
 
5. Included the completed Collaborative Analysis Checklist.
Thoughtfully considered your own role and the roles of others in your group, as well as identified ways you could improve collaborations in the future.
6. Use correct APA format.
References are correct.
Citations are correct.
Quotations are correctly formatted
