Classroom Overview

For this assignment, focus on the group of students in your Program of Study.

Create a classroom overview that will be used at the beginning of the school year with parents/guardians and students. You may make a newsletter, pamphlet, or mock-up of your webpage on the school website. Be creative, but include the following:

Introduce yourself, including contact information

Explain your classroom engagement and management plan with examples of:

    Procedures

    Rules and consequences

    Reward system or not

    Classroom expectations

    Explain what students will be learning and how they will be graded

    Explain how you will communicate with parents/guardians with consideration of various methods

    Create a parents/guardians page to help build a relationship between them and you. Consider the following:

    Acknowledge receipt of the information

    Parent/Guardian contact and communication information

    Parent/guardian and student questionnaires.

APA format is not required, but solid academic writing is expected
