Select 5 to 8 influential historical and world events concerning psychotherapy and therapeutic treatment. Use Timeline Builder to create a timeline detailing the events you selected. Include the following in your timeline: Date of the event Description of the event How the event relates to the history of psychotherapy and therapeutic techniques Prevalent psychotherapy theories and concepts related to the event Theorists associated with the event, if any Format your timeline consistent with APA guidelines.

I had a student question and wanted to share the answer with everyone in case anyone else was struggling with the timeline assignment.

The information for the assignment should be found in the assigned reading, and/or can be supplemented with other information which you should be sure to cite.

I've pasted the instructions from the syllabus below. I would recommend making a list of the entries that you want to include in your timeline detailing the information bulleted below for each of the 5 - 8 entries before you begin the Time line Builder. The builder is going to ask you for your beginning and ending dates, so you need to know that before you begin.
