The assignment
Objective:
To understand Information Technology breakdowns and their impact
Details:

1. Example #1 – Development phase:
First example should cover a breakdown that occurred during the system development phase.
During the development phase, common reasons for breakdown include inadequate understanding of what users want to constantly shifting preferences of users to inadequate testing or inadequate user-involvement during various stages of development. These breakdowns typically result in abandoned or suspended development efforts.
2. Example #2 – Product-live phase:
Second example should cover a breakdown that occurred during or after the system was deployed/delivered to a client. During the product-live phase top reasons for breakdown include inadequate testing, misalignment in the IT and business strategy as well as inability in understanding issues of ethics, privacy, and security in the use of such systems.
