Choose a career in the private sector that you are interested in.  Research the job, agency, pay, qualifications and duties.  Next, conduct that same research for the same job or similar job in the public sector.  Do you notice any differences?  What are they?

Take a stance on one of these two topics:

• Private security contractors in Iraq
• Privatization of prisons in the U.S. 

Do you support or oppose the privatization?  Why or why not?  Use facts and outside resources to support your stance.  

Use what you have learned throughout the CJ program, this week’s lesson presentation, as well as the readings from this week to give you the momentum you need to take a stance on this subject and develop your paper.

 Your paper should be 2 double-spaced pages, include a minimum of 2 outside resources, and follow APA format.
