Should parents be “guilty” and held accountable for their children’s crimes?

Read the following article “Parental Responsibility Laws.”

Write a 1-2 page paper, APA format, in which you reflect on the question whether or not parents should be guilty and accountable for the actions of their minor children.

Consider the various responses – criminal, civil and private – to parental responsibility for children. Support which alternative is the wisest ethical public policy.

Be specific in your analysis and use examples in your paper. You should incorporate at least one (1) outside source in your paper, making sure you properly cite that source.
