This has been a fascinating discussion and I'm enjoying the interaction. I wanted to post this article for everyone to consider as you are posting your responses to your classmates. The article speaks to the importance folk healing plays in the Mexican-American culture. This is a really great example of how cultural beliefs need to be validated by the practitioner as well as finding ways of incorporating beliefs into the plan of care.
