Cephalocaudal and Proximal-Distal Motor Development

Please define both cephalocaudal and proximal-distal motor development. Share how an understanding of these concepts can influence a parent’s and teacher’s support of an infants’ and toddlers’ motor development. Please provide; An analysis of how these two areas of development influence infants’ and toddlers’ abilities to move around, use tools, and coordinate perceptual and motor experiences.
