Causes of outdoor pollution

There are various contributors to the problem of air pollution. Most of these contributors are man-made. There are many agencies that regulate the level at which these contributors operate, however, no one has really been able to fully stop the progression of air pollutants that are threatening the world in which we live and the air we breathe.

Using the library, Internet and other credible resources, thoroughly research and share with classmates what you find about the following:

1. What are the top five causes of air pollution? 

2. Select one of them and share with classmates what are the health-risks involved?

3. What is being done to manage the risks?

4. What agencies are monitoring the issues?

5. In your opinion, will any of these causes stop their contributions to air pollution? Thoroughly explain.
