This is my first time using Adobe Indesign.  I learned a great deal during this assignment.  I watched the tutorial and followed step by step to complete part A of the assignment.  I didn’t face any difficulties in completing part A. Some of the new tools and concepts I learned were creating the margins and being able to drag the ruler to different spots of the paper to start the ruler at zero.  I also think it’s neat that you can place an image in a frame from Photoshop or Illustrator to the layout.  All the functions that you use to fit the image inside the frame were new to me also.

With the changes for this assignment I basically started the layout from scratch.  I went on ImageQuest and downloaded all new photos for this part of the assignment. First I started with the new background.  I uploaded it in Photoshop.  I then uploaded the chairs.  I used the magnetic lasso tool, to select the chairs, masked the image and added it to the background.  I then saved the image and added it to Indesign.  I then created new layers in Indesign and some new margins. I added the new photos by creating frames and placing them inside. I either selected fit content to frame or fit frame to content or used the direct selection tool to fit the photos.  I used the lines that popped on the screen to center everything.  I used the same logo, phone number, and text from part A of the assignment.  I first went into Illustrator and saved the logo again to make a copy so I could change the color of the logo without affecting the original.  I then changed the logo to red with a gradient effect because the blue logo blended in with the background. I then went in illustrator and created some new callouts that went along with the new photos and phone number. Overall I had fun and learned a lot with assignment and creating changes to the layout!
