can you give feedback to my classmate ( this not an essay) 100-150 word please (8/24/2015 morning)

Kindergarten in German translates to children’s garden which is a great name for this age group. Children are like plants in gardens they still are growing rapidly in many different areas. To grow they need an assortment of materials to explore and teachers that model appropriate teaching practices. There are many milestones for kindergartners to reach in their stages of development. For gross motor development children should be able to hop, skip, do somersaults, climb, use swings, stand and hop on one foot, etc.  For cognitive they should be able to count, draw people with limbs, write some letters/numbers, count, understand sequences, etc. For language and communication they should be able to put 5 to 6 word sentences together, tell some stories, know family and friends names, engage with others, etc. For social emotional they should understand others feelings, know who is a boy or girl, want to play with friends, put on pretend shows, etc. Children should be to go potty, zip their zippers, use silverware, dress and undress themselves, etc.

Summer is a great time to continue to teach children going into kindergarten. Family trips can include songs, counting, etc. Summers are great to stay active and get out of the house to work on gross motor skills and fine motor skills. Children love to build and there are so many great things outdoors to build with. There are endless numbers of art activities and science activities that can be done during the summer. An example for science could be growing a garden. Children can watch the growth over time and draw or write down their observations. Youth sports cover many stages for growing kindergartners that can prepare them for school.
