What do you know to be true? Would a large survey of people agree? Can you prove it? The reasoning you use to make decisions is often based on either deductive or inductive reasoning.

In this Discussion, you will see how your use of inductive reasoning can play a part in the choices you make.

To prepare for this Discussion:

• Read the required reading from this week’s Learning Resources, paying close attention to the topics of inductive and deductive reasoning.

Post by Day 3: a 1- to 2-paragraph example of a decision you have made recently in which the method of reasoning used to reach the decision was induction. Describe your reasoning process.

Respond to at least two of your colleagues by Day 5 in a substantive manner by reading the posts from your colleagues and providing feedback. For example, you can pose additional questions about their decisions, choose to find a counterexample, ask questions about the decision that was made, etc. Try to respond to someone who has not yet received a response. Once everyone has a reply, you can find another person to respond to.

NOTE: The decision that I had to make was to relocate my business to the other side of town because of ex trying to complicated and not wanting to let keep this property because he was wanting to sell and harrassing me all the time about moving my business not thinking about our child (15) plus been in business for 24yrs
