you will write a report that considers: 

1 Heat transmission through building elements such as walls, ceilings, floors. 

2 Describe the elements of solar geometry so we can calculate the position of the Sun at any time of the day, at any location on Earth. 

3 Show how knowledge of solar radiation can be used to calculate heat transfer through building surfaces. Consider the role of thermal radiation where appropriate. 

4 Report on how solar loads vary with the diurnal cycle. 

5 Heat transmission through windows.
