The Journal of finance is published by the american finance association. Their goal is to "promote knowledge about financial economics." They offer opinions about where to invest your money, what careers within finance are promising and or declining, and give a general report on how the industry is doing.

The Economist is a very well known magazine that evaluates the current economic situation of not only the United States, but the world. They don't just publish items regarding economics either, but current world and political situations that affect the market.
