Business Math, Ch. 7

Class, it is important to think about how our audience will be viewing our graphs.  Will they be on paper?  Will they be on a computer screen?  Will the audience be able to interact with our graph?

Take a look at this weather graph:

http://digital.weather.gov/

As you're looking at it, be sure to move your mouse around so you can get additional information.  There's a slider at the top and a box that shows the maximum temperature when you hover over different locations.

Keeping in mind the things you're learning about graphs this week, what did you think about this graphic display for weather? Do you think it is well presented or needs improvement(s)?  If this graph was presented on paper, what features would be lost? How might you compensate for that?  Do you see any features you'd like to incorporate into a graph at your job?
