PROBLEM AND OBJECTIVES

Assignment Overview

One of the most important aspects of this class is to figure out a research question that you are highly interested in that relates to leadership. For example: Is there a connection between playing high school sports and becoming a leader in the workforce?

Case Assignment

For the Case Assignment, you will write a 2- to 4-page paper describing the leadership topic that you will be researching and focusing on for this entire course. Please select a topic that you are highly interested in and that will help you in your current/future organization.

This section contains a fairly detailed description of the research question and problem to be studied. The following should be addressed in this section:

1. What is the motivation for the study?
2. Why is the problem important?
3. What new knowledge will your research bring to the field of leadership?
