Pretend that you are a Capitol Hill lobbyist being paid big bucks by an environmental group to help affect decisions made by the Congress.  The people paying you money want to see positive votes on policies that reduce citizens’ exposure to chemicals in their environment.  Write a policy brief (a memo, 2-3 pages or less) that outlines your argument to the Congresswomen and men for why they should vote in favor of these policies that limit exposure to chemicals in the environment.
