Assignment Instructions:
The Big Bang theory has today largely superseded the Steady State theory. When the Steady State theory was put forth in the 1950s, the theories were considered equally valid. This assignment asks you to look at two models of the universe and to compare and contrast them.

Draw up a list of the main points of both theories and then describe the evidence that made the Big Bang theory become the accepted model of the universe and not the Steady State theory.
