Assignment:  1) Identify and thoroughly document one (1) specific problem in a juvenile delinquency prevention, deterrence, rehabilitation, or incarceration program in your community, region or state.  

2) Explain in detail the steps you would take as a juvenile justice leader to address that specific problem and how those steps should reduce delinquency. NOTE: throwing more money at the problem is NOT a solution.

3) Explain in detail how the specific problem impacts Disproportionate Minority Contact in the juvenile justice system.  

4) Specifically explain in one paragraph how our university’s core value of RESPECT applies to specific contents of the textbook readings for this module and include a citation and page number.

Your response should go beyond the obvious and be written at a graduate level. Your answer must be no less than 1200 words and you must use at least three authoritative sources beyond those provided to support your position. All sources must be properly cited using the APA style.
