This week you learned about social structure and factors as related to delinquency. Siegel and Welsh (2012) discussed poverty, racial disparity within larger theories, i.e., social factors, social structure and delinquency, and social disorganization.

Your individual work assignment is to research and explain the decrease in criminal activity for young people after they pass through a period of adolescence.
