As the CEO of a major manufacturing firm you are perplexed. On the one hand, if you are the first mover into the market of China you will have first access to a large market. On the other hand, such a mover contradicts your notion that the manufacturing work should remain in your domestic country. You are very patriotic, and much of your advertising campaign and consumer appeal is based on the notion that your product is "home grown." On the other hand, if you wait for competitors to market in this country you could be losing a valuable market. 

1. Discuss the advantages of being the first mover and utilizing inexpensive foreign labor;
2. Discuss the advantages and disadvantages of basing the marketing of a product on being domestically driven in nature;
