1. Perform an internet search on company culture. What are examples of companies with a good culture? What about these companies makes the culture positive.
2. Perform an Internet search to find a specific diversity policy for an organization. What is the policy? Do you think it is effective? What might make the policy ineffective?
3. Visit the website http://www.diversityinc.com (Links to an external site.) and find the latest “Top 50 list.” What criteria are used to determine the rankings? What are the top five companies for the current year?
4. Visit the EEOC website (http://www.eeoc.gov (Links to an external site.)) and explain the methods an employee can use in filing a complaint with the EEOC. If an employer is found to have discriminated, what are some “remedies” listed on the EEOC website?
