Choose a household appliance in which you have some familiarity (e.g. vacuum, toaster, hair dryer). 

Rewrite your earlier mechanism report (Assignment 4), making the necessary adjustments for format and content. If necessary, tighten up (condense) or expand on the appliance information. Review the clarity and brevity of content and correct editorial issues. Read the mechanism report example in the textbook if you have not done so already. The document must include: 

a. Headings
b. Graphics
c. A logical spatial order
d. A citation of any graphic(s) if taken from a source

SUBJECT: Private phone and text message use on company time

This memorandum is being presented as a reminder concerning private phone and text

message use on company time. Delineated below, you will find the procedure to follow for

this definite issue.

It has been observed that after numerous verbal reminders we have establish that

most employees have been using their private phone and text messaging very often

in company premises while on duty, which is not all acceptable according to the

company’s policy. It has been reminded to all employees numerous times however not

much loyalty has been measured.

While on duty, employees must practice the same prudence in using personal phones

and text messaging as for the usage of the Company phone. Personal phone calls and

text messaging during work hours, irrespective of the phone in use can hamper

the employees productivity and also distracting to other workers. Personal phones are not

to be accepted on the job devoid of specific consent from the management who will

ensure supervisors are frequently updated of this consent. Employees are supposed to

notify respective supervisors of the necessity to have a personal phone call or text

messaging who in return will inaugurate a meeting with the management to deliberate

with the employee the necessity to have use private phone call and text messaging.

Consent for the usage will be granted or denied on a case-by-case basis. Employees

are requested to make personal phone calls and text messaging during breaks and lunch

times and to make certain that friends and family affiliates are informed of this

policy.

The Company is not liable for the loss of private phones brought into the company

premises. Additionally employees are not accredited to make private phones in place

of Company offered beepers and radios.

As per any company policy, management staff is anticipated to act as role models for the

modest accordance with the provisions provided above and are heartened to frequently
