Assignment #3 (7.5%) Video Reaction paper 1-2 pages Listen to the following classical piece of music in its entirety. Then, watch the following video online and write a review of the video (60 minute video). http://beyondthescore.org/video_holst.html The Beyond the Score video/presentation is a way of presenting a concert to audiences with rich background of the composer, the composition and its inception followed by the performance of the piece in it’s entirety. Discuss your perceptions of the video and include in your paper observations about the instruments, the music, the group as a whole. Tell me whether you liked or disliked the piece and why. Did you like the piece better after watching the video or before? Did you find the video helpful in listening inside the piece more? Explain - Written Assignment Policy: Any plagiarized papers will result in an F on the assignment. Academic dishonesty (plagiarism, cheating, fabrication etc.) may lead to serious penalties such as reduction of grades, probation, suspension, or expulsion. Please refer to the Student Handbook for details. All papers WILL be 12 point, double-spaced, Times New Roman font. For each paper that requires concert attendance, a ticket and program MUST be stapled to the back of the paper. A rubric (available on Ramct) must also be stapled to the BACK of the paper. If the above rules are not followed, the paper will NOT be graded, and you will receive an F for the assignment.
