6. For this activity, you will be assigned into a group of 3 or 4 members assigned by the instructor. You will be able to view your group under "My Groups" located in the course menu. Within each group there is a group Discussion Board and file sharing. Since only one response is required from the group, please decide who will be the "recorder" for the group. 

Since this course introduces you to Aviation Information Systems, your group project will be to develop a system report on an Aviation System. You will choose a system from the list below, or submit a system for instructor approval to complete the report. Systems included in the list are not inclusive of all Aviation Systems and are not a complete discussion of the systems covered.

Deliverables for the report include the following:

Deliverable 1 - Due at the End of Module 5
• Report Abstract – Include Title Page, Abstract, and Preliminary Reference List (minimum of 4 sources)

Final Deliverable - Due at the end of Module 8 - a 7 to 10 page report that includes the following:
• A full definition of the system and its purpose
• A description of the System and how it is used
• System Key Users
• Common features of features
• Hardware and software used for the system
• Primary users of the system
• Find two systems vendors/manufacturer and discuss their product
• Discussion about two aviation entities that use the system and a summary of experiences and use
• Future developments
• Conclusion

The final deliverable is a full 7 to 10 page report, excluding the title page, abstract, and reference page. APA formatting is required. The report must be free of spelling and grammatical errors. This should be an original paper and not a summary of a manufacturers system, case study, or white paper.

Address the following in a short essay paper, using citations to support your work:

Conduct a review of Checked Baggage Screening Systems projects and vendors and write a 500 word (minimum), essay paper that discusses the systems and the impact on airports and airlines.
