After reading the historical documents for this Module, how has your understanding of America’s origins changed? For example, what new things have you learned about the early American immigrant experience? What effect does this new knowledge have on how you think about crucial elements of American life, like property ownership, citizenship, freedom (and other political ideals), as well as the “American Dream”?
