Cite the sources of the historical information referred to in the essay with in-text citations and a reference, according to APA guidelines (available at the Center for Writing Excellence).

Format the essay according to APA guidelines.

Proofread and edit the essay for correct spelling and grammar.

Submit the assignment to the online plagiarism checker at the Center for Writing Excellence. Post the full plagiarism report -- score and comments (see Instructor Policies for details) -- as a PDF file to the Assignment Files tab. 

Post the completed assignment as a separate Word file (.doc or .docx) to the Assignment Files tab.
