Assignment

Choose one of the following two options for this chapter’s discussion assignment: 1) Visit some retail stores in your community such as appliance, bicycle, or sporting goods store and report on the demonstration techniques, if any, that were used in selling a product. Suggest ways you would have presented the product to improve upon the presentation. 2) Report on one television advertisement that used each of the following: proof statement, a demonstration, unusual visual aids, and a dramatization. Provide details about the TV advertisement regarding the demographic makeup of the actors, the setting or environment, the company and the product.
