For this assignment, you will construct a 1-2 page journal detailing your experience
with literature. In order to complete this journal, please focus on answering 1-2 of
the following questions, in essay format:
1. Discuss your experience with literature. Are you an avid reader? What
literature courses have you previously taken? Do you enjoy literature, why or
why not?
2. What do you find difficult about reading literature? Themes? Concepts?
Language?
3. What do you enjoy most about reading literature?
4. How does literature connect to your personal life, education, or career? Are
you going into a field in which literature is present?
You are not required to provide citations and references for outside sources for this
assignment; however, if you choose to utilize any outside sources and/or quotes,
please do include citations and references to avoid plagiarism.
