• Write a 1,500-word argumentative essay
  • demonstrate your understanding of the issue
  • outline the various arguments relating to the issue
  • justify your position (by referring to financial accounting concepts and theories)
• Use5-10academic references (including books and journal articles, as well as online academic resources. Wikipedia is NOT an academic reference).
• Present your assignment in front of the class.
• With your partner, identify an issue from the above conversation and relate it in Australian Accounting context
• Choose your topic (with your partner) based on the issue you found.
• Research the topic making sure you note the bibliographic details of your sources.
• End of Week 2 – consult your lecturer to confirm your topic for the essay.
• Write an essay plan.
• Write the essay draft.
• Review your draft, write a final draft and submit in Week 5.2 via Turnitin.
• Both the group members have to present the group assignment
• Make a plan how you will present your work
• Prepare power point slides of your assignment
• Bring a soft copy of your presentation in week 5.2
• Present your assignment in front of the class within stipulated time in week 5.2 (10-15 Minutes)
• Answer questions raised from the class (3-5 Minutes)
