Part I: Many of the elements of literature can be found in various other formats. Lyrics, movies, and even television shows all spring from the written word. Select a song, movie, or television show and discuss how one of the literary elements contributes to the power of the work. You will need to be specific, so you are certainly welcome to focus on a specific episode or even a certain line of a song. Please include a link, if possible, so that everyone can get a clear picture of what you're discussing.

Part II: Select at least three elements you have noticed in the work you are reading. Provide specific cited examples that demonstrate the author's use of that element and explain the overall impact.

APA Format

Using findlaw.com, research a case that involves alter-ego liability.  In 250 words, define the term "alter-ego" and list the elements the court considered when determining whether to pierce the corporate shield.  Incorporate the material from the text and support your statements.



In addition, discuss whether it is ethical for a company to move its corporate headquarters overseas to avoid paying income tax. Which duty do you believe is higher, the duty of corporations to pay tax to government or the duty of corporations to pay dividends to shareholders? Why?
