Part 1: What is the role of assessment, specifically functional assessment, in working with clients using ABA? Why is proper assessment, and more specifically functional assessment, important?

Part 2: Briefly present an observable behavior that would benefit from ABA intervention, including a target behavior definition. Based on our readings from this week, discuss how you would assess this behavior to help you later identify an appropriate intervention. Include a description of how you will record the behavior, how often the data will be recorded, and what type of assessment method you will use.
