Article summary and critique

- I attached the Article that needs to write about it. The paper should include the following:

The article summary and critique may beno longer than 4 pages, double spaced with 1 inch margins, and 11-12 point Arial, Times New Roman, Calibri, or Cambria font. Use APA formatting. The summaries and critiques will include the following components:

• Write the complete citation for the article, including authors, year of publication, title of the article, name of the journal, volume number of the journal, and page numbers of the article.
• Summary

• The purpose of the study and the research questions and/or the research hypotheses
• A description of the study characteristics (e.g., experimental, longitudinal, prospective, retrospective, case study, cross sectional, nonexperimental, quasi-experimental, etc.)
• A description of the sampling strategies and the final study sample (including sample size and description of the sample)

• A brief summary of the intervention methods used (if applicable)
• A summary of how data were collected
• Operational definitions of the variables that were studied (be brief, but remember to explain how the researcher(s) defined all variables, including independent and dependent or predictor and criterion).

• The main findings and the ways in which they were interpreted by the author(s). This should include appropriate statistics, p-values, etc.
• Decisions reached by the author(s) regarding hypotheses (if applicable)

• The conclusions reached by the author(s)

• Critique: An analysis of the strengths and weaknesses of the following:

• Ways in which the study is conceptualized and its theoretical foundations.

• Sampling design and procedures.

• Research design and procedures.
• Threats to internal and external validity.

• Instrumentation and reliability and validity of measurement/methods.
• Data analyses, presentation, and results.
• Conclusions reached by authors.
