The purpose of this assignment is to connect historical events from the Enlightenment and Romantic Ages to the age's art, music, architecture, philosophy, and literature.

Part 1:

Choose an historical event from the Enlightenment Age that interests you.

• Choose a piece of architecture or philosophy that reflects your chosen event.  Explain the connection.
• Choose a piece of literature that reflects your chosen event.  Explain the connection.
• Include the architecture or philosophy and literature chosen; add images and passages, as appropriate.
