Topic: Should cigarette smoking be banned?

-Use Subordinating Connections—for ideas which support other ideas 
- Use Transition Words/Phrases--- to switch between subtopics and paragraphs 
-Use proper grammar, spelling, and punctuation
-in your conclusion: A solid conclusion is essential to presenting a successful argument. In the conclusion, you tell your audience:
  • "what you told them" but briefly
  • remind them of the importance of your topic
  • restate your claim addressing any counterclaims
