1-2 paragraph EACH
1-Relate your personal ethics to what you know about healthcare policy. Your decisions are very personal and there is often no one right answer to a policy issue. Being able to do so is one of the original objectives of this course. In the field of healthcare management ethics you might want to consider the American College of Healthcare Executives Code of Ethics available on their webpage. Regardless of whether you adopt a current written code or craft you own, now is the time to solidify your ethical standards. It's always nice to do that before they are challenged. Allow for the possibility that your thoughts on this may change over time. Your peers, employees and patients will interpret your expression of a consistent personal code of ethics as integrity. Take some time without distraction to think about your personal code of ethics now and think about it again with each significant management decision that you make. Please note that I am not asking you to post your Code of Ethics.
