Literature Review (Due Sunday of Week 6)

Among the critical skills an anthropologist (or any scientist) must have is the ability to understand, analyze, critically evaluate, and use the work of other scholars.  This assignment will cultivate these skills.

For the structural violence paper due Sunday of week seven, you will select one current health issue or disease and one specific country to analyze through the lens of structural violence. Please review the assignment below. Use this literature review assignment to locate research you will use when writing that paper.  Locate five scholarly  (peer reviewed) academic journal articles (newspapers, news magazines, and dot com sites do not count) that will help you to explore your chosen health issue/disease in one specific country. Write a thesis statement and provide an annotated bibliography in which you summarize how each article will be used in your paper.  Follow this format:

One paragraph summary of the article and how it will be used in your paper.

APA formatted Reference Number 2

One Paragraph summary of the article and how it will be used in your paper.

And so on through all five articles.
