Analysis of a Visual Argument

The goal of this essay is to evaluate and analyze a visual argument. This can be a print ad, a tv commercial, a political ad. Analyze it in two ways. Is the ad effective? In what ways are they successful/unsuccessful?

Also analyze the subtext of the argument, is there a deeper cultural significance to the advertisement? Who is it targeted to. What cultural signifiers or stereotypes are used and to what effext? Could the ad be harmful or offensive in some way? Are they using techniques like fear, or sex, or the bandwagon approach to make the product seem more appealing? Look at what the argument actually says.( 3-4 pages)
