In the readings (Parenti Chapters 1 and 4, and Jalee), in the film “Inequality for all”, the following topics; power, production, distribution, relations of production, exploitation, inequality and the state.  Write an essay (minimum 4 typed pages) defining and analyzing these topics, including how the means of production define human labor and human history; how agriculture and domestication of animals brought about surplus which led to private property and slavery; how exploitation by the ruling class over the working class takes place in slavery, feudalism, and capitalism (leading to present day inequality); and how the state emerges from these antagonistic relations of production as the instrument of power of ruling classes ( force, laws, ideology).
