All things they carried by Tim O’ Brien

Choose one word that you think is important from one of the texts assigned over the course of the semester.   Ideally it will be a word that resonates with you and a text that you’re considering discussing in your final paper.  Look it up in the Oxford English Dictionary (available through the JJC library website: http://www.oed.com.ez.lib.jjay.cuny.edu  —do not use any dictionary other than the OED).  Then, in a 600-800 essay, discuss how this word affects the meaning of the text as a whole.
