Step 2: Review your library resources; consult with the reference librarian at your local or school library, and search the internet to complete the RESOURCE TABLE for your field study. ACTIVITY #2: DATABASE EXPLORATION Step 1: Using your library’s resources and your research question from Activity #1, explore the databases that are available (note, use the Cybrary through the portal). There will be a brief description of the database. Step 2: List and describe the databases that you think will help you the most with your research and why. Step3: Thinking of your field of study (your major) list the specific databases that are appropriate for research in your major and why. ACTIVITY #3: SEARCH ENGINE COMPARISON Step 1: Do a search for a limited topic of your choice using a search engine, and then do the same search using a meta-search engine.
