Weekly tasks or assignments (Individual or Group Projects) will be due by Monday and late submissions will be assigned a late penalty in accordance with the late penalty policy found in the syllabus. NOTE: All submission posting times are based on midnight Central Time.

You have been asked by the CEO of your company to give a presentation to the students at a local college. You were specifically asked to discuss the role of an accountant. In a presentation of 500–700 words, discuss the following:

• Explain the purpose and objective of accounting.

• What is the purpose of corporate governance, and why is it important to the company?

• Why is an accountant's integrity important?

• How has technology impacted the accounting profession?

  Your presentation should be 500–700 words in length, not including the title or references. All references must be cited.
