Go to http://www.fbi.gov/ucr/ucr.htm  and look up the 2013 Crime in the United States (CIUS) report.  What are the statistics for your home state? Helpful hints:  Report property, violent crime, murder & negligent manslaughter, forcible rape, robbery, aggravated assault, property crime, burglary, larcenty-theft and motor vehicle theft for one major city. What variables do you feel might account for the crime rates in your state (i.e., large populations, rural area, etc.)
